Information services are critical to the growth of sustainable microfinance! 

The MIX will discuss the instrumental roles played by information services, and focus on Information eXchange and Benchmarking.

Information eXchange:
The MIX will present the MIX Market, the global online information platform for the microfinance industry.
The MIX Market:

• Facilitates information exchanges among a wide range of microfinance actors
• Enhances transparency through higher visibility for Microfinance Institutions (MFIs)
• Promotes investment in microfinance by boosting exchanges and information flows between MFIs and Investors and Donors.

Benchmarking:
The MIX will share its experience on benchmarking issues through the MicroBanking Bulletin (MBB). The MBB serves MFIs and other key actors by:

• Increasing data quality through industry standard reporting
• Enhancing performance monitoring
• Boosting MFI performance, by allowing MFIs to compare their performance to that of their peers
• Strengthening support to networks and supervisory bodies
