The second annual conference will build on that strategy developed in last year’s conference. The theme of the second conference will be "Continuing to Shape the Industry’s Future: Client-Driven Microfinance." Arab practitioners and international experts will examine how Arab microfinance programs can better meet the needs of poor micro-entrepreneurs.
The conference will be attended by microfinance practitioners and industry experts, donor agencies, bankers, investors and government officials. Sanabel expects to host more than 300 participants this year.
As Sanabel is in the process of establishing its headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, holding its second annual conference in Egypt offers a great opportunity for Sanabel to demonstrate the importance of microfinance in Egypt, the Arab world and beyond.
