Verification Process

The MIX MARKET is an interactive system that discloses MIX MARKET members’ self-reported data for MFI and  Fund Profiles. The MIX MARKET Verification process includes 2 steps:

• Data coherence: For new Profiles, the MIX MARKET team ensures that the data and documents provided are coherently presented.  For updated profiles, the MIX MARKET team ensures that the modified data are consistent and appropriate replacements of existing data. 

• Verification of Online Posting and Editing Rights: The MIX MARKET team verifies the posting and editing rights of members that represent MFIs and/or Funds.  The MIX MARKET team also verifies the member’s specific rights to publicly disclose information online before the profile is published on the website.  To carry out these two steps, the MIX MARKET team will contact the individual(s) listed as the MFI or Fund’s "Contact person for the verification of your posting/editing rights on behalf of your institution”.  Upon confirmation from the contact persons of the member’s posting/editing and public disclosure rights, the profile will be made publicly available on the website.  The MIX MARKET team does not publish profiles before receiving this confirmation.

Upon receipt of the confirmation and publication of the profile, the MIX MARKET member will be contacted and allowed to edit the profile.
