Jordan Ahli Bank, the parent company of Ahli Microfinance Company (AMC), is keen that its financial service should be delivered to all sectors in the economy from large to micro sectors. In order to activate its economic and social role and real participation in the development of the Jordanian economy, Jordan Ahli Bank in association with AMIR program has studied the opportunity of establishing a company that its operations are directed into lending to microfinance sector depending on "Best Practices Methodology."
Ahli Microfinance Company (AMC) was incepted in mid 1999, and it is considered to be the first private-sector microfinance institution that operates in this field.
AMC is keen to constantly improve its services through communicating with its customers and responding to their financing requirements.
Since its establishment, AMC has provided JD42 million worth of loans to local small businesses. As part of its ambitious on-going development plan, AMC continued to open new branches. AMC excels in providing its services through developing four loan programs professionally tailored to suit a varied assortment of businesses and social segments. These include:
Development Loan: An exclusively designed loan program intended to support and help develop existing licensed businesses. The funding amount borders from JD 3,000 to JD 15,000, with a repayment period of 4-18 months.
“Ambition” Loan: A funding program especially tailored to respond to the needs of existing licensed and non-licensed (Home-based) businesses, with JD400-3,000 cash funding and repayment period of up to 15 months.
“Group” Loan: Targets home-based businesses owned by a group of women in order to assist them in expanding their activities. The funding amount starts from JD400 until JD700 for each member of the group, with a repayment period of up to 15 months.
Vehicles Loan: An affordable auto loan enabling outlet owners to buy transport vehicles for their businesses, with a financing limit of JD2,000 – 15,000 and a repayment period of 4-36 months. Ocultar
