Established in Sept. 3, 1978 by a dozen local investors, the creation of the bank was a response to the expansion of the agricultural credit and intensified rice production programs of the Marcos period (1972 -1986). Its current challenge, after almost thirty years of continuous operations in one of the country's financially difficult environment due to the decades-old communal strife and local conflicts, is how to further build-up from those long years of rural banking experience, and expand outreach despite the unsettled social-political issues. Hopefully the Partnerrb may contribute to the attainment of lasting peace and the strengthening of financial institutions in Cotabato and Maguindanao, Philippines. Ocultar
