Antecedentes y principales retos: 
Before being transformed into a cooperative, TRD was known as the TRD movement with several businesses under it. It was formalized as a cooperative on July 4, 2004 and started its agricultural loan program first before offering microfinance loans. Its main challenge is to make/upgrade entrepreneurs.
