Objectives
The ASN-Novib Microkredietfonds aims to promote a broad participation of all groups in the market economy of developing countries. To achieve this, ANF makes capital available to financial institutions providing credit to clients with economic opportunities but limited access to financial services.

Target clients
The ASN-Novib Microkredietfonds invests in financial institutions (microfinance institutions, savings and credit co-operatives, banks and investment funds) providing credit to small-scale entrepreneurs. The fund supports experienced financial institutions with proven management capacities.

ASN Bank aims to promote a sustainable society and is guided by that aim in its economic activities. ASN believes in promoting changes that can help put an end to processes that negatively impact the environment and the poor. This is guided by the recognition of the need for achieving a return over the long term to safeguard the continuing, sound operation of ASN, as well as the need to manage the resources entrusted to ASN Bank in a manner which does justice to customers' expectations in that respect.

Oxfam Novib aims for sustainable development by supporting initiatives of poor people in developing countries and giving them a voice. Oxfam Novib has three goals: working with partners in the long term fight against poverty in Africa, Asia and Latin America, the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, informing people better, and standing up for the interests of the poorest people when decisions are being made. In fighting poverty, Oxfam Novib co-operates with local organizations who work for, and with, the poorest people.
