CHF International started a micro credit program in June 2004 to offer credit for working capital to underserved low-income individuals and households, which later evolved as a local Institution 'AMFI'. AMFI is a locally registered not-for-profit institution and operates in Bamiyan, Ghazni and Kabul provinces with four branches. AMFI's challenge is it's vision i.e. "To be a long-lasting and leading Development Finance Institution for Afghans, offering best financial services which are in consonance to their Social and Economic Needs".
