One of the first private banks that have appeared in Khujand, Republic of Tajikistan, was the commercial bank "Eskhata," which was established November 1993. In a year, in November 1994, the National Bank of Tajikistan gave out the license for fulfillment of bank operations. Bank Eskhata has already been operating for 10 years and developing as an Open Joint-Stock Company.
