Benefit was founded in November of 1996 as the Association of Citizens. In December of 2001, the institution was transformed into a Microcredit Organization in accordance with the Law on Microcredit Organization. Benefit currently has total of 54 employees and 26 offices which are serving approximately 9,000 clients.
Benefit has very impressive operational and financial performance, as well as portfolio quality. However, the main challenge in the upcoming period will be transformation of the organization in accordance with the new Law on Microcredit Organization in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Cacher
