JSC “Lazika Capital” is non-banking micro finance institution registered at Tax Department and National Bank of Georgia in compliance with the relevant articles provisioned by Law for Microfinance Organization and Entrepreneurial Code of Georgia.
The mission of Lazika Capital is to deliver adequate financial services to low income market for overcoming unemployment and poverty.
Granting of small and micro business loans is the priority for Lazika Capital among the list of activities provisioned and permitted for MFO-s by National Bank of Georgia.
The lending strategy of Lazika Capital stimulates the generation of sufficient starting and working capital among the marginalized segment of entrepreneurs and bridges the law income market to SME standards.
It also promotes the legalization and institutionalization of entrepreneurship particularly in rural areas, which still remains on its lower level as the large concentration of informal income generating activities still can be observed.
As an adequate response to existing reality on market, the small scale rural and semi-urban entrepreneurs are the principle target for geographical expansion of Lazika Capital; however its financial growth will permanently maintain optimal concentration of SME products tailored to the needs of more dynamic and stable economical sector.
Despite of its strong pro-social course in lending philosophy, Lazika Capital aims to raise optimal financial return on invested capital and maintain high capitalization rate. However, the liberalization of lending policy has been and will remain as a main line for Lazika Capital.
With its sophisticated lending strategy Lazika Capital plans to expand (during the next five years perspectives) mainly in Samegrelo Region, Ajara and Kutaisi District (Imerety) and become the leader on MF market in West Georgia.
