As it becomes profitable (2002) Faulu Uganda aims to transform (2003) into a regulated institution that will become the most profitable and largest, by loan portfolio, best practice micro-finance institution in Uganda within 5 years with a targeted minimum return on equity of 20% beginning in 2002 increasing to 30% by 2004.
