Incofin is a SRI investing in MFIs, in order to support local entrepreneurship in developing countries. Its shareholders are corporates and private individuals. Incofin targets double bottom line return.

Incofin's mission is to invest in sustainable microfinance institutions that provide well adapted financial services to small local entreprises and emphasize high social added value and thereby breaking the vicious circle of poverty.

The company aims at financial autonomy. It proposes essentially a social return with the objective of maintaining the initial value of the shareholders' investments. Some limited financial return may be provided to shareholders, once the company will have reached a sufficient size (probably in 2008). The company invests in equity, quasi-equity, debt securities and guarantees.
