Mission:
Since its inception in 1985 ACEP has provided loans for poorer entrepreneurs in Senegal. However, ACEP has converted from an NGO into a licensed Credit Union in 1993. Over the same time period, ACEP began to serve urban customers in addition to its rural client base.
