Jordan Ahli Bank, the parent company of Ahli Microfinance Company (AMC), is keen that its financial service should be delivered to all sectors in the economy from large to micro sectors. In order to activate its economic and social role and real participation in the development of the Jordanian economy, Jordan Ahli Bank in association with AMIR program has studied the opportunity of establishing a company that its operations are directed into lending to microfinance sector depending on "Best Practices Methodology."
Ahli Microfinance Company (AMC) was incepted in mid 1999, and it is considered to be the first private-sector microfinance institution that operates in this field.
AMC is keen to constantly improve its services through communicating with its customers and responding to their financing requirements.
Since its establishment, AMC has provided JD42 million worth of loans to local small businesses. As part of its ambitious on-going development plan, AMC continued to open new branches. 1)EXISTING PROJECTS LOANS
Maximum loan size is JOD 15000 , maturity for a period up to 36 months.
2)HOUSEHOLD LOANS
Mainly offered to women how have businesses in their homes ,loans offred for an amount up to JOD 2000 ,and a maturity up to 12 months.
3) START UP LOANS
In Jun,2003 Start-Up loans introduced thoso benefited from theses loans can have a grace period of 3-6 months.
4)VEHICLES LENDING
Intreduced In Aug,2003 specefically for income generating vehicles,the maximum loan size is JOD 20000 and a period up to 48 months.
5)BEDAYA LOANS
Intreduced in March,2005 desined to meet the market demand ,the amount of the loan is up to JOD 400 ,and with a maturity up to 10 months.
ISLAMIC LENDING LOANS
Intreduced in June,2006 desined to meet the market demand ,the amount of the loan is up to JOD 15000 ,and with a maturity up to 36months (for vehicle lending ,the amount is up to JOD 20000, and maturity up to 48 months.
