ASEI is an NGO with 5 branches that has been working in the micro-enterprise sector for 11 years. The methodologies it employs are distributed among village banking (60%), supportive groups (20%) and individual credit (20%). With 5200 clients, 80% of which are women, ASEI specializes in microfinance.
Challenges for the following 3 years are; growth of subsistent actual products sectors, facing a substantial competition, the reinforcing of sub-products of village banking, to reach a 14,000 clientele with a value of portfolio of three million dollars, the improvement of the promoter’s production and to arrive at solutions with the sector that we are working in by reducing poverty, generating employment and creating wealth.
