The main goal of the fund is assistance of entrepreneurs in Kazakhstan by providing financial resources, consulting and other services for production and infrastructure development with the aim of increasing the wellbeing of the population.

Atyrauski Microfinance Center is the only organization in the Atyrauski region that applies the microfinance model established by Muhammad Yunus, the founder of Grameen Bank and winner of the Nobel Price for Peace in 2006. This group lending without collateral have a great impact on the development of microbusinesses. The average loan balance per borrower of our organizations is 90,000 tenge or about $ 750. We cannot provide the maximum loan amount as established by law ($ 70,000 or 8.5 million tenge) even to its most established customers due to the lack of external funds. Hide
