Mission:

To promote savings culture and microcredit facilities to the poor and excluded in South-West Nigeria in order to establish or maintain small scale businesses.

Background and Main Challenges:

CGEE started as a savings and credit scheme under the justice development and peace commission of Ijebu Ode Catholic diocese in 1994. It was then meant to supplement the empowerment programs of JDOC through poverty alleviation among farmers and women.
