Digital Resource Center Microfinance is a subsidiary of PdE-Kenya, an NGO registered in January 2003 under the NGO Coordination Act. PdE-International based in Starsbourg, France supported programs in education, credit, health and environment in Kenya since 1983. To further increase household incomes and enhance lives and livelihoods of our target groups and for sustainability of the program, PdE started a microfinance project under the Digital Resource Center. The main challenge are both institutional and market oriented. Institutional challenges are; limited products and services in microfinance delivery mechanism and limited human resource capacities.
