Kingsbridge Microfinance was commenced business in July 7, 2008 by three youthful men who were inspired to lead and serve their nation in their own small way by helping to augment the financial challenges facing the poor and underserved small business people in our various communities.
These personalities have over the years developed a wealth of knowledge in microfinance and entrepreneurial skills which has propelled the organization to build, maintain and grow a healthy relationship with its clients from Asofan, a suburb of Ofankor and has since then expanded to Achimota, Dome, Abeka Accra Central and some parts of Tema.
The dynamic nature of the business environment has also challenged the organization to be creative and innovative to design several attractive products including loans to deprived students and a Susu developmental program to meet the peculiar needs of our clients. This has brought about a phenomenal growth in our size as well as our clients and portfolio.
In 2010 and 2011 saw the Kingsbridge’s registration with the Ghana Microfinance Institutions Network (GHAMFIN) and Ghana Association of Microfinance Companies (GAMC) respectively which has enabled it to gain more value and experience through regular training of its key staff.
