Metemamen seeks to reach 12000 clients by the end of 2006 of which at least 75% will be women.the principal methodology applied is the village banking methodology. The major challenge faced by the Institution in this brief period of operation has been the increasing number of dropping out clients due maily to product inflexibility and the drought situtation that had affected large number of its clients then. The institution carried out market research with the view to identifying clients' need and increase its outreach and client retention rate. Currently the institution is pilot testing the improved products which are showing encouraging results in terms of ut reach and sustainability.
