SAMRUDHI is a responsible institution working with poor to reinforce their efforts to rise, remain, above the poverty line. SAMRUDHI has set both quantitative and qualitative targets for itself, both at member and institutional level. SAMRUDHI believes that the “poor are bankable”; they have “credit discipline”, and they have potential to improve income and productivity and can make profit.
SAMRUDHI plans to scale-up its operations to reach 200,000 poor families by 2013. The long-term vision of SAMRUDHI is to cover at least 50 poorest districts of India.
