Background Twenty-six like-minded Vijaya Development Resource Center (VDRC) members and community people initiated the VYCCU Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Ltd. on 1991 to improve socio-economic status of the members through the mobilization of economic and human resources. Chalenges The main challenge for any financial program in Nepal including micro-financial service is of law and order and security. The insurgents not only loot the financial institutions, they coerce financial institutions to decrease the interest rates to those institutions that serves poor.
