Read moreThe National Microfinance Network, named as M7, was established on 5 July, 2006 with financial support from MckNight Fund through the project "Supporting the transformation of credit and savings program in compliance with the Decree 28 “Organization and operation of small-scaled financial institutions in Vietnam" of the Government. Members of the Network include 7 credit and savings services providers, which were established and operating with the support from ActionAid since 1993 to 2003. They are programs of Mai Son district of Son La province; Dien Bien city; Dien Bien district; Dong Trieu and Uong Bi of Quang Ninh province; Can Loc of Ha Tinh province and Ninh Phuoc of Ninh Thuan province.
The mandate of M7’s members is provision of microfinance services to poor people and poor communities, especially women and their families, facilitating them in their economic development for improvement of their life and status
