We pursue this mission by building the capacity of institutions engaged in microfinance to serve poor households in a viable and sustainable manner. We aim to promote the expansion of the formal financial markets into microfinance. We advocate the pursuit of the highest standards of excellence in governance, stewardship, and service towards staff, clients and poor communities served.
