Read moreA group of 12 Dutch institutions, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, social investors, civil society organizations, specialized financial institutions and private foundations involved in microfinance in the Netherlands have jointly established the Dutch microfinance Platform.
The aim is cooperation among the Platform’s members in areas such as:
* A joint approach to common areas of interest such as the impact of microfinance;
* Exchange of information resulting in a common comprehensive database on Dutch microfinance provision;
* Initiatives to improve Dutch microfinance provision through greater insight into the comparative advantages of Platform members;
* Standardized indicators to measure social and financial objectives;
* Adherence to internationally accepted practices and standards and cooperation with initiatives which promote their application.
