Service Providers

Creditwatch is a non-profit education trust based in Kolkata, is a well-known micro finance service provider in Eastern India. It was established in December 1999 with a strong poverty focus and a vision of taking credit to all households and productive agents so that they realise their full economic potential.

Creditwatch provides the following services to MFIs:
1. Evaluation of MFIs with TOFFE Rating system
2. Partner institution capacity building for poverty targeting and micro finance accounting
3. Continuous monitoring of loan portfolio qualities and track repayment records at partner institution level and at the Project level
4. Software search and development for Management information flow from Partner institutions to Project level
5. Study and research on credit delivery models of partner institutions, vulnerability status of credit users and non users and dissemination of knowledge for all stakeholders
6. Spread financial literacy among the clients/potential clients of Partner institutions
7. Organisation development and Knowledge management of partner Institutions
